In 1984 I joined Schlott Realtors as a sales associate in their Lyndhurst office. As a sales associate I achieved Million Dollar Sales Club Status from 1986 through 1988. In 1988 I was also top sales associate in the entire office. In 1989 I was offered the opportunity to manage the company’s Bergenfield office and became the youngest manager in the organization. I managed that office for a little over a year during which time I nearly doubled the size of the sales staff and guided the office to profitability. The office was subsequently merged with another location and I presided over the integration retaining 22 of the 24 sales associates. After the merger was complete I was transferred to the Lyndhurst/Woodridge location where I was entrusted with the responsibility for managing 2 locations (it was during this time that Schlott Realtors was purchased by Coldwell Banker). While there I completely turned the office around growing the sales staff from 8 to approximately 70 sales associates. I managed the office from a net loss of $200,000 to a net profit of $200,000 and was given the companies Most Improved Office award in 1992. I also increased market share from 12% to over 50%. In 1993 I was transferred to the Short Hills location. Short Hills was another office that was in need of a turnaround. During my 7 years there I increased the sales staff from 32 to more than 60 agents, increased profits by 350%, won the companies Most Improved Office award again in 1996, was one of the top 3 most improved offices in 1997 and finally was the number 1 Regional Office in operating profit in 1997. I maintained these levels through 2000 when I was asked to take over another floundering office in Hillsdale. In that location over a 3 year period I increased the size of the sales staff by more than 40 sales associates and increased profits by more than 250%. I also supervised the merger of the Montvale and Hillsdale locations retaining all but 1 of the sales associates from the closed Montvale location. In 2003 I decided to return to the sales end of the business and joined the Re/Max Property Center office as a broker associate. Since then I have achieved the Re/Max 100% Sales Club averaging over 40 transactions per year. My focus is always on customer service for my clients and I offer a number of unique options for both home buyers and sellers.
